Bedrock-specific placement rules

Structure placement is evaluated with Bedrock rules where Java and Bedrock differ. Do not paste a Java coordinate into a phone or console world and expect the same village or treasure. Modern terrain can look familiar while progression structures disagree.

Mobile, console, Windows, and Realms

The Bedrock family shares an edition, but the version string in Settings is what matters. Preview 26.50, Chaos Cubed 26.30+, and older labels are grouped so you can match the build on the device or Realm that will host the season.

Known coverage limits

Unsupported finders stay hidden rather than covering the map with unreliable dots. Terrain-sensitive positions remain candidates until checked in game.

How to evaluate a Bedrock seed before a Realm opens

Confirm edition and version first, then inspect spawn, villages, portals, strongholds, and the routes you would realistically travel in survival. Verify at least one important marker in a Creative copy before opening a Realm season or telling a group where to build.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find my Minecraft seed?

Load the world and type /seed in chat. Copy the number and paste it into MC Seed Map.

Are all locations exact?

Many positions are deterministic, but terrain-dependent, unsupported, and newest-version markers should be verified in game.

Which versions can I select?

Java selectors run from 1.7 through 26.3-s1 (Snapshot chip), with 26.2 and older releases under Latest/Older. Bedrock selectors run from 1.16 through preview 26.50, including Chaos Cubed 26.30+. Match the edition and version that generated your chunks; newest snapshot or preview markers still deserve an in-game check.

Does my seed leave the browser?

Map generation runs in browser workers. Your seed is not sent to a remote map-rendering service.

Is MC Seed Map free?

Yes. The map is free to use and does not require an account.

About this tool

MC Seed Map is developed and maintained by Gio Nui, an independent developer focused on practical Minecraft tools. The project favors transparent limitations, local calculation, and results that players can verify in game.
